The Amazing Legacy of Wendell’s Applewhite Richardson.

The Wendell Historical Society will meet Thursday, Oct. 20. Deans Eatman will present the program on “The Amazing Legacy of Wendell’s Applewhite Richardson.” Richardson (1801-1874) was married three times and fathered 25 children. Hundreds of his descendants populate the Wendell area. The meeting will be held in the small fellowship hall of Wendell Baptist Church, 3651 Wendell Boulevard, beginning at 7 p.m. All Wendell Historical Society meetings are open to the public.
